![]() Vista was initially released with a defective Media Center, in typical Microsoft fashion, which had errors at the beginning of the file which even VideoReDo couldn't fix. Usually, that's not a big deal if you're viewing the file live, although sometimes it is, and it can screw up writing to DVD. I don't remember whether the trial versions have restrictions, I've been using various licensed versions of VideoReDo for years, since Windows Media Center and most DVR applications will produce files with errors. So basically you get a chance to try the software to see if it suites your needs. That also means that if you use one and it expires, and you try a newer beta, it will probably also be expired. As far as I know, the betas function like normal 15-day trials if you don't have a license. ![]() ![]() #77, john, I have a license for VideoReDo TVSuite (like most software I purchase, it was at a discount).
